Faculty Member: History, English, Media Arts
In my History and English courses, I help students read primary and secondary sources with analytical precision, hoping that along the way, this will refine their creative, expressive, and narrative skills. This is also the trajectory of my Media Arts course, which is, at its core, an interdisciplinary project-based workshop.
After all, there are no boundaries when it comes to good thinking and good art. Sapare aude! Ars longa, vita brevis!
Outside of my teaching duties, I write screenplays when I wake up in the middle of the night, and I also jog.
I was born in DC, grew up in Maryland, went to college and grad school in Chicago, paid rent in NYC and SF, and now drive all over Los Angeles.
