This course in elementary algebra presents the properties and structure of the real number system. The course is aimed toward developing those skills necessary for more complex courses.

ALGEBRA II/TRIGONOMETRY HONORS (UC Approved) One Year
This one-year course begins as an overview and extension of concepts learned in Algebra I. The course develops the concepts of Quadratic Relations and Applications, Exponential and Logarithmic functions, Series and Sequences Matrices and Probability. The second semester is devoted entirely to the study of trigonometry, which includes Trigonometric Functions and Applications, Vectors and Graphs of Trigonometric Functions and Trigonometric Identities and Equations.

This course utilizes the modern approach to study of the point and line in relation to the plane and space; traditional theorems and constructions; and introduction of coordinate geometry. Set theory language is used.

AP CALCULUS AB (UC Approved) One Year Calculus is the analysis of problems of change and of context. It is a computational technique, and the principle quantitative language of science and technology. This course includes evaluation of limits, analysis of functions, derivatives, integration techniques, evaluation of volume of solids, Riemann's Sum and Newton's Approximation. This college level course prepares students for the Advanced Placement exam.
